Christmas Lights Appeal

Each year we fundraise and organise the Christmas lights on behalf of Dorking Town. Our fundraising activites include evening events, collection boxes in shops, and light donations. We are also fortunates in getting a grant to help us.

Hanging Flower Baskets

In the summer we again fundraise and organise the Hanging Baskets for the Dorking and use the same activies to fundraise the amount needed.

Dorkers' Spooktacular Halloween Hunt

Over the Half-term School holidays the Friends of Dorking have created the Dorkers' Spooktacular Halloween Hunt. This is a FREE event for everyone over 110 shops will be taking part. As it is over the whole of the half-term Holidays families have plenty of time to take part.

The year's Hunt starts on 20 October. Entry is FREE and everyone gets a small treat at the end when they hand in their entry form. Forms are  available to downlod from this site as well as participating shops from Friday 19 October please see current list below. The forms give instruction on how to take part.

Once the Halloween Hunt form has been completed it can be handed back in the following shops:
SC Fuller – South Street
Harmans – West Street
Flowers by Elaine – High Street
Oriund Coffee Shop – High Street

There are 3 prizes of £25.00 vouchers plus 3 runner up prizes. The more you do as a family the more chances there are to win! Correct entries get put into a hat and the winners are drawn out. ENJOY!
